Oxygen Therapy for CFS-ME

Oxygen Therapy for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome / ME

Oxygen Therapy involves breathing in 100% pure oxygen through a mask in an enclosed chamber, at twice the normal atmospheric level.

The aim is to increase the amount of dissolved oxygen in the body’s circulation to help repair blood vessels and damaged tissue. It was first developed to treat deep sea divers with decompression sickness.

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, also known as Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) is a challenging condition for many patients, their families and the medical profession. The illness is difficult to diagnose since there is a lack of symptom consistency between individuals. Recent research indicates however that High Dose Oxygen Therapy can significantly reduce symptoms of fatigue and increase a patient’s quality of life.

For more detailed information about the specific benefits Oxygen Therapy could provide for your condition, please provide a few details below and we’ll be in touch.
